Wow what a beautiful film! This movie is about a girl whose mother dies in tragic circumstances which leaves Amy seriously injured in hospital. After she wakes up from concussion she finds her father, who has not been part of her life for years, by her bed. The two of them move to his home Canada where she discovers that her father is a more exciting man than she thought - he has made a machine that allows him to glide in the sky.

When the local council start to the cut down the trees around them Amy finds goose eggs in one of the cut down trees and takes them home and looks after them. They hatch and we watch the relationship between Amy, her father and these geese develop over time.
