An exciting and pacy 1970s cult movie about a New York street gang desperate to make it make to their Coney island home turf.

I thought this film was exciting and fast-moving, but I found it annoying that some aspects of the film's plotline (for example: did certain characters live or die at the end?) The film depicts a New York street gang called the Warriors who travel to a citywide assembly of all the gangs in the city. During the meeting, the leader of one of the gangs is shot dead by a member of the crowd and the Warriors are framed for the murder. Suddenly finding that all the other gangs are out to get them, the question becomes - will they make it home in one piece?
