Some Like It Hot (1959)

Billy Wilder is now in my book,a master of comedy especially in this film! It was incredibly funny on all different scales and everyone in my film club loved it!

It starts when 2 men witness a crime and are soon on the run from a group of murderous gangsters who have got a demon of a leader...Spat! Jerry and Gerald soon realise that its a small world, and they also learn something they didn't know...how cruel men can be especially saxaphone players! The two men soon join an all women band with Marilyn Monroe(playing Sugar) as the singer.

Even though its age this film was a smashing hit at our film club and i'm sure if you watch it it will be the same. I would like to salute to the director Billy Wilder for thinking of so funny jokes and such a cinematic film even with modern day comedys.

So to sum this film up in one word phoenomial! As it easily deserves 5 stars and more recognition with my age group.
