A remake of a very old film, that is based off of a very old novel, the novel itself seems very dated which causes the film to be very dated, while it has an interesting plot the characters overall are seem dated. The main character was a very aggressive young man trying to prove himself in a Brighton gang. The two main characters were hard to relate to but led to a story that was different, however it could have been better executed.
