Amazing film directed by Antoine Fuqua... This film was amazing, there was a big deal about it in the build up of the film. No wonder; it was amazing! Jake Gyllenhaal did an amazing job in this film, expressing his emotions in the best way possible. He starts out a wealthy and most-likely the best boxer in the world. Later in the movie he loses his wife(she was murdered); as you would expect he was depressed. He also lost the physical and emotional strength to fight and lost his money. He did a series of things - dangerous and stupid. His daughter was sent to children protection services... I mean it when I say this film was good. The actors were good especially. I'm rating this film 5 stars!
