The director Michael Mann really planned out how he envisioned this move with the right amount of mystery and deception, the actors played there parts very well but i don't think the assassin part played by tom cruise didn't fit his normal role as in his other films he is depicted as one of the heroes so i would disagree with the casting for this position. Jamie Foxx played his part very well and suited his role very well, he created a bond with the audience throughout the film and made us get anxious about some of the decisions he made and weather or not we agreed or not. This movie is in the genre of a thriller or action thriller which i think it fits almost perfectly.
