Quirky black comedy about a teenager who's useless in the classroom but king of extra-curricular activities falling for his refined teacher.

For the life of me I have no idea why Wes Anderson receives the praise he does. Directing another ridiculous film, the director’s desires for an ‘artsy film’ seemed to suffocate and ultimately destroy any chance of appropriate character development or any interesting plot. The characters are wooden and bland and the plot is more-so. There was absolutely no attempt to bring out a human side to any of the questionably eccentric characters resulting in a depressing, dreadful and frankly childish waste of time.
