Saving Mr. Banks This is a movie I did not watch in Film Club because I had fell but my mum had the DVD so I could do my review. The movie is about the fantastic Walt Disney trying to get the rights from P.L. Travers so he can make a movie of her book Mary Poppins. It's a very enchanting story about how the Mary Poppins movie came to be. P.L. Travers is pretty much determined to make the movie perfect but it takes it toll on others and some ideas remind her of her past.It is truely heart warming. Straight from the heart, thats were this movie came from, not a movie studio! I love how the characters have been cast and the fact that it is based on a true story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't see that coming at all but still I recomend it as a family movie, good for Mary Poppins fans.I really enjoyed the movie. Alex Maclean
