I have not seen a movie that made me RAGE this much! EVER! The Story The story is about a young boy who takes his brother's dog after he died during his time in the army. The story had potential, but it ended up making the biggest mistakes in the book, mainly because of the characters. If the characters had brains, the story would of been more interesting, but the characters killed the story! The Characters This is the worst cast of characters I have ever seen in a film. We don't know anything about the older brother's relationship with his family before his death, I invented a word to describe the main character, Pussygay. It basically means he is a hypocritical winer who's balls haven't dropped and that he is an indecisive idiot who doesn't know a thing about dogs, even though his brother is a dog trainer. So yeah, he's a Pussygay! The father sounds like he's doing a poor Sylvester Stallone impression without acting skills and is a dog shooting, trigger-happy American and his wife is a typical american housewife. Before you say I'm using offensive stereotypes to describe the characters. That's all they are! Stereotypes, and not healthy ones! Such as the Hispanics having nothing but yapping chihuahuas in their house, people who are medically discharged from the army are nothing but liars who sell weapons to the Italian mafia and Mexican drug dealers. Did Donald Trump make this movie!?! The Special Effects The acting in this film was terrible. The characters didn't emote at all to the point where the father seemed to be doing a Sylvester Stallone impression without any of his good acting. The dog scenes were done well, except the dog fight scenes where you can just tell that they are just play fighting. All you have to do is add blood effects and use better camera angles. And speaking of camera angles, they were really poor in this film. They were so bad that I didn't know that the brother died during that scene till the characters talked about it (there was no flashback by the way) and the music in that scene didn't show any emotion while the brother laid dead after getting shot. Also, some of the dog training facts are inaccurate, such as the sit hand command. I have been doing a work experience with a dog trainer and while it is hard work, it's a lot of fun. Watching this movie is just offensive to the art of dog training. Final Thoughts Overall, this is the worst dog movie I have ever seen. The story is a mess, the characters are stereotypes and the acting in this movie is just terrible! And it's a shame too. This is one of the only films that stars Belgium Malinois. I love malinois, there up there as one of my favourite dog breeds (No.1 being German Shepherd, 2nd is Northern Inuit, 3rd Siberian Husky, Belgium Malinois being 4th). And with the breed frequently being mixed up with German Shepherds and them being the main stars of this film. You can't help but feel sorry for the poor Belgium Malinois... The Story 1/5 The Characters 0/5 The Special Effects 0.5/5 Overall 0.5/5
