‘The Way He Looks’ is a coming-of-age romantic film based off of the short film ‘I Don’t Want To Go Back Alone’ by Daniel Ribeiro. The film is set in São Paulo and follows the life of teenager, Leonardo, a blind 16 year old boy and his bestfriend Giovana. While dealing with parents who doubt Leonard’s capability as a disabled teenager, he tries to escape from their somewhat captivity by applying for an exchange program abroad but the arrival of Gabriel puts a spin on Leonardo’s perspective as well as comes in the way of Leonardo and Giovana’s friendship. If you’re looking for a film to make you cry and laugh, this is exactly what you’re looking for due to its unexpected twist and love triangle
