The film The color purple was done in 1985 and its 147 minutes long. The director Steven Spielberg done a good job creating this film because it was very emotional and depressing. The movie is based on a novel from Alice Walker 'The Color Purple'. and its about two sisters that got separated and they do everything in their power to find each other. the film touched on themes, such as; racism, sexism and discrimination. I recommend this film to older people because there is a lot of talking and no action.
