'Whisper of the Heart' was an enjoyable film about finding out who you are and what you will do with your life. The main character doesn't think very much about her future until she meets a boy who already has his life planned out. Soon she begins to think about it and comes up with an idea and finally works out what she wants to do. She then starts acting on it immediately. I think this film shows what many teenagers and tweens think about when they are growing up. I identify with her at certain points in the story, when she is doing what she wants to do in her later life because I want to do what she does, too! The ending of the film made me want to look away but look at the same time... This film definitely kept me enthralled throughout.
