this film was about a mermaid and her little pet fish. they always wanted to go to the surface and explore .Ariel (the mermaid) collected thousands of things that humans use that she had never seen before. when she found something new she went to her friend seagull that told her what the things were called but he just made the names up and that's what Ariel excepted she used the things just as the seagull told her to. but her dad (the king of the ocean) didn't like her going to the surface for even one second. but then she continues to go to the surface beyond her dads wishes and finds the man of her dreams. this film has hood animation and the songs are quite catchy but then again I am a boy so there for, this isn't my type of film. I rated this film two stars because it's about mermaids and love. I REALLY DON'T LIKE LOVE FILMS!!!
