12 Angry Men is a brilliant story about a murder case, with a jury of 12 men. The result must be unanimous. They all believe that he's guilty. All, but one. One man believes the innocence of a young Hispanic boy, who has lived a terrible, broken life, and his job is to convince all of them that he is innocent.
It is a very powerful and emotional film, that takes into account the terrible fact of poverty and young children in the ghetto as well as racism and the ignorance of adults at the time.
One of the best things about this film is the character development. There are no minor characters. It is just 12 people, each with their own story, their own background, their own views.
It may be a black and white film, but it rivals many of the modern films.
I would highly recommend this to all people above the age of 12, as the story is best understood by a more mature audience.
