Outrageous yet genial comedy, about Tracy, a "pleasantly plump" teen who refuses to let the prejudices of others stand in the way of her fun.

I loved this movie because it included lots of catchy songs. It was full of suspense and I enjoyed all of it. My favourite part was at the end because that was when they broke in to the tv studio. This movie stands up for black people. I enjoyed the movie because it was all about dancing and how one girl follows her dream to be on television. This movie is compact with amazing songs, action and a huge mystery which eventually unravels as the movie goes on. I think this movie is for children ten to thirteen. I definitely enjoyed this movie and I am going to watch it again.
