Imitation Of Life (1959)

In my opinion I think that Imitation of life was a good film, but could be better. I was a little disappointed because of the graphics but I liked the suspense. My favourite part of the movie was the part when the girl ran away and the mother went to look for her, very worried about what might have happened to her. I think at the end the mother should have dealt with the situation differently, and not let it affect her in the way that it did. I believe that the film should have ended differently, with the mother finding the daughter. I think that the age rating should be 12 because there is nothing wrong with whether the film is suitable or not. I think this film was made a long time ago because it says it was made in 1959. It is a drama movie but it has a few romantic scenes. I would rate this film 3*** out of 5*****, because the graphics let down the rest of the movie. I would recommend this film to my friends and other viewers, if they are interested in a comedy, romantic,and family film.I think other people would enjoy the film because it is a family film.I think Nyah my sister has enjoyed it.I do not think I have heard lots of music but they do not need music it is already entertainment.Lora Meredith (Lana Turner), a white single mother who dreams of being on Broadway, has a chance encounter with Annie Johnson (Juanita Moore), a black widow. Annie becomes the caretaker of Lora's daughter, Suzie (Sandra Dee), while Lora pursues her stage career. Both women deal with the difficulties.
