Still a classic- 20 years on!

For a movie released 2 decades ago, this film still feels like one of the most realistic sci-fi movies to date. This film is based around a young Police officer who encounters an extra terrestrial criminal with a futuristic weapon that he has never seen before. Because he has seen this abnormal event, the Men In Black approach him to be their new agent. The casting of a humorous and fresh-feeling Will Smith and a deadly serious Tommy Lee Jones feels like it was destined to happen.

This film is rated PG, so if you can handle one or two profound words and scenes then this is definitely one of the greatest family watches available. Everything from the intense chase scenes to the witty one-liners feels incredibly well thought out and the music perfectly fits the American 20th Century.

I am not giving this film 5 stars due to the fact that it felt predictable in a way; probably down to age and the advancements in scripts but it is still one of the best. Fully worth the watch!
