This film is based on two children, Carmen Cortez and Juni Cortez, who in an attempt to save their Mother and Father (ex-spies) fall into the sinister plan of a sinister mastermind. Their parents - Gregorio Cortez and Ingrid Cortez - work secretly for the company called the Organisation of Super Spies (OSS) doing desk work but are immediately asked to get back into action when agents start disappearing. Before getting married, they were rival spies but fell in love and decided to 'retire' from the secret agent job to look after their kids. After getting trapped in Fegan Floop's castle, Carmen and Juni taste the life of true spies and begin to save their parents. They take on the responsible role to defeat the robot children, get past fake OSS members and bring The Third Brain into the right hands.
I really enjoyed this film partly because of the twists and turns but also because I like to see how our world cinematography has developed and also the special techniques used to get the perfect effect. In this film you could see that it was filmed using green screen when Carmen was flying around but that didn't change anything at all! I found it funny when Gregorio and Ingrid were in Floop's castle and when it looked like puzzle pieces fell down making it look like a hole but actually it was glass. Though Carmen wasn't that lucky when she and Juni crossed one. I liked the different equipment used in the film made by Machette (Gregorio's older brother) because it was very useful and well thought through. I found it surprising when I found out that the villain was hosting a children's show and that all he cared about was happiness for children and about his show. It turned out that his assistant Alexander Minion was planning for world domination along with Mr.Lisp and Ms.Gradenko who were waiting for an army of the most powerful robots to conquer the world and achieve their greatest dreams .
My favourite character was Carmen Elizabeth Juanita Echo Sky Bravo Cortez because she was quick witted, fast, thoughtful, caring and adventurous. She never got lost in hard times and always tried her best. Also she never gave up.
Overall, this is a fun family, adventure, comedy film and I would recommend it to anyone who loves mystery and adventure films. This could possibly be a film of the future so start training your spy skills. Till next time !
