A Great Addition to Columbia's Massive Ever-Growing Library-This film is a great adaption of the book, the drama effect the excitement and from this, you may learn a thing or two about animals, I certainly did and the special effects just blows my mind, though it may not look so great, and makes me want to see a behind the scenes video.
Let's talk about storylines. It's pretty dramatic and there's a little tint of gory speech, and I honestly will say that I believe this movie is far better than Zathura. Zathura was just stuck in the one big house though did move to go on an alien ship, Jumanji, however, went out through the town and even through time, now that's impressive.
Now to the sound effects. The animal noises seemed very realistic, from the buzzing of mosquitos right to the roars of a lion, after all, if it's about animals they would have needed to nail those noises.
Special effects. Now Jumanji's (in my opinion) biggest strength, special effects. Though it may have looked a bit cheesy and were easy to tell that they were fake, effects were impressive, even the little things like the automatic movement of the little figures right to the bigger things like the animals as it would be impossible to have real animals in onset or else actors would have died in 5 seconds.
Visual Detail. Now before you scream that it was awful bare in mind that it was 1995 and not 2018, in my opinion, it was quite detailed and the quality was ok seeing as it was the nineties.
Everything else such as makeup, stunts, casting, and camera angles were quite good, I was expecting far less from Columbia but they exceeded my expectations.
Now drumroll, please! Here is the quick summary of... Jumanji!
If there is one thing young Alan Parrish (Adam Hann-Byrd) learned, it would be to never play a board game that's not meant to be played and also to always finish the game. Join Alan, Judy (Kristen Dunst) and Peter (Bradley Pierce) go on a safari adventure and face their doom...
