LAPUTA THE CASTLE IN THE SKY!

5 stars

09 Oct 2018

A girl's family has a magic necklace. Her family is on a plane that gets invaded by pirates and she grabs the necklace and jumps... A boy and the girl run from the pirates that had followed the girl after she jumped. A robot from the castle in the sky fell off the island (the castle is on) and lands on earth... There is a secret word you should not say... It is recommended for people who like a bit of disaster and a surprising plot. I enjoy this film because it is not just a simple film, it is very detailed and the story just flows like a river and the animation is fabulous. I enjoy the melancholy soundtrack in this film. Recommended for 8+. I also recommend films by Studio Ghibli such as: Spirited Away, The Wind Rises, My Neighbour Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service and The Secret World of Arrietty. Because these films are quite scary at times, they shouldn't be for under fives.
