Pollyanna is a well executed movie with a well thought out story line (A child called Pollyanna loses her parents and is transported to live with her aunt in a town full of miserable people who don't really enjoy having fun and she makes friends with an orphan boy called Jimmy and they get up to lots of adventures but then an unexpected accident occurs but that can't stop the impact Pollyanna has on the people of the town) I enjoy the concept of the film and I must say, I really wasn't expecting that tragic ending but as long as everyone was glad in the end. I really liked the character of the minister in the church as he was very dramatic and also, D E A T H C O M E S U N E X P E C T E D L Y ! ! !

I greatly enjoyed the use of the older style of music and the light hardheartedness of it all. I like that style and I could have listened to it for even longer than the 2 hours of the film.

It was overall, a really great film and it would come highly recommended from me personally. I think it dragged on a little bit too long and added in some unnecessary scenes that really led the film out to be over 2 hours long. It would be quite boring for some people to sit through the beginning as nothing exciting really happens until the last 40 minutes or so. I really enjoy that kind of thing so I was happy to sit through the "boring" parts. It's a great film and you should really watch it, even if you think you won't like it, I can assure you that you will.
