Son of Rambow(2007)
A hugely likeable coming-of-age tale set in 1980s Britain, about a pair of school friends who decide to film a sequel to Rambo.

I personally believe this film is pretty good. It is a mixture of drama and action, it has a good plot and characters. The story follows 2 boys growing up in a tough time in England in the 1980's. They both love the Rambo series and try to make a direct sequel to the first one. It is fun to watch the boys make the film as they are very dedicated and passionate about it. One of the boys, Lee, joins someone called Didier and they eventually make the film and it isn't that bad. My favorite aspect of the film is definitely the camera work as they used a vary of shots such as long shots, close ups and medium shots.
There is only one thing I have with it: I believe the plot could be a bit more logical and they could've even included Sylvester Stallone although the budget wasn't too big. It would've made sense as the film is about a few kids trying to be like him. Overall, I thought the film was brilliant and I would like to see a sequel to it. I think for the sequel it should feature the kids about 20 years later and they step in for Stallone.
