When I first heard of a new IT film in late 2016, I was expecting it to be like most over remakes. Rushed film, over-dramatized and packed with cliché, and I thought nothing could beat Tim Curry's 1990 Pennywise. But this film was an exception. Films never made me scared or on edge, mainly because my dad keeps telling me horrors aren't ever scary, just designed to make you jump. But this was the only film that I have ever seen, as of writing this, that actually made me feel on-edge. Mainly because anything can happen and you don't know what's real and what isn't. Anything can just get manipulated in the background and attack the character. Sort of like A Nightmare on Elm Street, except more modern, and quite frankly more terrifying. Great horror, and would highly recommend!
