I. LOVE. THIS. MOVIE.

This film is definitely in my list of 'top ten films ever.'

I read the book (by Stephanie Meyer) before I watched this film, which I also loved, and this film definitely didn't disappoint. It was released on November 21, 2008, and in 2009 was, unsurprisingly the most purchased DVD of the year. The movie was primarily filmed in Oregan and was directed by Catherine Hardwicke.

It is a dark film about teenager Bella as she begins her new life in Forks with her dad Charlie. She instantly falls for mysterious, mystical, and jaw-droppingly gorgeous Edward Cullen who seems completely repulsed by her. But her life turns completely upside-down as she discovers his family's shady secrets...

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (Bella and Edward) are amazing and perfect for their parts, as I think all the actors and actresses are.

This film is a heartwarming romantic fantasy about trust and believing in what seems crazy and impossible. I would recommend this film to anyone 10+ as I think anyone younger than that won't enjoy it as much as they could.
