time bandits: what is it all about?

5 stars

23 Jan 2019

Time bandits; What do I think about this film? Well I thought it was a good dose of Monty Python mixed in with Morecambe and Wise. All in all it was an excellent film to watch as Terry Gilliam is a good writer and when he produced time bandits, he made a very good film. I especially liked the character Randall. I thought he was a good character who took advantage of the map and took his friends and Kevin to the Napoleonic wars, ancient Greece, robin hood and even appeared on the Titanic. I especially liked the character Wally who had some of the best lines, for example, ‘Rat anyone? It may be our last meal’ I thought that was funny when he thought a rat could be a last meal and I was surprised to find out that this movie’s budget was 5 million compared to Rocky’s budget of 1 million for example. To conclude this review, I thought this was a very well made film. For a budget of 5 million I would really recommend it.
