I liked the soundtrack allot and the sounds used in it. It realy drives a sense of fear and destress. I noticed how one of the songs used to emote sadness early in the movie was also used at the end of the film to portray a different emotion. The film was well paced with shots lasting for long amounts of time to emphasise what’s happening. The films mood is set out to Be calm and natural from the beginning meaning the audience doesn’t lose interest during these scenes. I thought the way the main character spoke was unrealistic for a causal conversation and killed the realism. The slaves had accents and ways of speaking which sounded to sophisticated to be accurate.
