This film is definitely one of my favourites and it’s a film that you could never get tired of, the feeling will always be there.
In this emotional journey, a young girl in love finds herself between life and death after a car crash on an icy road with her family. Watching it was like a rollercoaster journey and it keeps you on the edge of your seat at all times because you don't know what path she will take.
It shows her desperately trying to reach out to her family and boyfriend, seeing how they handle her being in a coma and seeing if her family holds onto their lives too, especially her little brother.
You would think it would be all based o a hospital as it happens so early on wouldn’t you? But, I was surprised when it showed more of her life before the accident and how she met her boyfriend.
Through every passing moment of her being in a coma, you will feel like you know her better and want to know more. When I watched it, I couldn’t bare to turn it off as the storytelling really pulls you in.
Don’t forget to also read the sequel, ‘where she went’ after if the cliffhanger ending made you want to know what happens to her years later, from Adams pov. I look forward to reviewing that one!
