The Agony of War

3 stars

16 Mar 2019

A classic war film, the nerves and calmness eventually shock the viewers. I wasn't too much of a fan of the action taking a while to get started but the parts of the characters were played superbly well. One of the main characters, played by Asa Butterfield, held the pure excitement and nerves of war whilst also showing responsibility and the terror war possesses. Sam Claflin also showed how war had an utterly damaging affect war was to the young men. Wouldn't recommend this film to someone who isn't particularly a fan of war films, not suitable for under 12 year olds.
