Powerful film set in 1930s Australia, where children born to mixed-race parents were often taken from their Aboriginal mothers by the state.

Rabbit Proof Fence is a film that is set in 1930s Australia. It follows 3 girls and their journey home.

At the start we see the girls get taken off their mother and grandmother and to a concentration camp. At the concentration camp the children were treated like dirt because they were mixed raced or half caste as referred to. I enjoyed the film as it was interesting and entertaining I plan to stay at Film Club and would like to see films like this one again as it was very interesting.
