I found this movie very boring. It didn’t excite me very much. In the movie the characters didn’t use their facial expressions so I found it very glum. The director didn’t make the movie very realistic. Two children running away and escaping on a tiny island and not being found for over a week. This does not make any sense because the police would definitely have found them. Adding on to my point, the director makes all the characters have cartoony traits and actions for effect but I didn’t find it very amusing. Finally, most the jokes are disappointingly not funny. Whether I’m not old enough to understand them or they actally are funny but I’m not picking up on them they still don’t make any sense to me. All in all, I think Wes Anderson should make cartoons such as Fantastic Mr Fox as he has done before and not make movies out of his comfort zone such as Moonrise Kingdom.
