“A Street Cat Named Bob” is a heart-warming and uplifting drama about homelessness and drug addiction. It features excellent performances and an engaging narrative, it’s definitely worth a watch!

What surprised me so much about “A Street Cat Named Bob” was how entertaining it is. I expected it to be the depressing story that we’ve all seen before: man meets cat, man befriends cat, sweet antics occur, cat dies tragically and man is battered by the miseries of life, then the man dies. Thankfully, “A Street Cat Named Bob” is not as grim as that, it does have some more emotional moments, but they are perfectly blended together with genuinely enjoyable scenes, making this a gritty yet charming movie.

All of the cast give fantastic performances here, they each bring nuance and depth to the characters whilst also adding a level of warmth to them. I have to mention that all of the cats that play Bob are great, the Oscars should consider adding a CATegory for the animals of the film industry because they are not getting the respect they deserve!

So that’s all I have to say about “A Street Cat Named Bob”, I know I haven’t said very much but simply put, this is just a really nice film that you should watch!
