(If any of you who are reading this DO have a Peter-tingle, or whatever-your-name-is-tingle, you would be able to tingle that this review has spoilers, so if I were you I would use my Tingle powers and not read this review until you have watched Spider-Man: Far From Home. Thank you =) ). Right, lets start with the proper review.
After the tragic events of Endgame Peter Parker thinks that it's time for him to take a break from being Spider-Man and go on a holiday with his classmates, thinking that it's a way to connect with fellow classmate Michelle (MJ). But one of the students who is going with on the trip (Brad Davis) also wants to win MJ. One of the reasons why is that he didn't blip* out (*the thing that happened when Thanos clicked his fingers and made everyone turn to dust). A few days before you can see that Aunt May is passing Peter in his room and throws him a banana, but instead of him catching it, the banana slaps him in the face. Then May gets all worked up about how his 'Peter-tingle' works when there are bullets being shot at him but doesn't work when she throws a banana. Then Peter gets worked up because she called his Spider sense the 'Peter-tingle'. This is similar to what happened in the second Spider Man movie when Peter (Tobey Maguire) wants to take a break from being Spider Man and his powers start to fade (for example when he tries to climb a building wall but his stick hands slip and he falls and REALLY hurts his back). Anyway, about the holidays: Peter has also been getting calls from (da-da-da-dum) Nick Fury but has been voice mailing all of them, when suddenly his best friend Ned gets shot with a tranquilliser bullet by Nick Fury. He tells Peter about the Elementals (a group of believed-to-be deadly creatures from a different multiverse who are really very, VERY realistic holograms performed by robots) and how they have come from a a person called Mysterio's world and how the Fire Elemental destroyed his home world. The first time Peter sees an Elemental is when his best friend and his best friend's girlfriend are in a boat and and the Water Elemental attacks them. That's when Mysterio comes and kills it. That same night is when Ned is shot with the tranquilliser gun by Nick Fury and he asks Peter to come with him. So at that moment Fury basically just hijacked Peter's holiday. When Spidey meets Mysterio they suddenly become best friends straight away. Peter tells Ned and then Ned gets all excited about it. But Peter tells Ned that he has to look after his new girlfriend (they became a couple after the plane shakes and Ned slips and his hand accidentally slips into hers). After Peter meets with Nick Fury and Mysterio one of Fury's not-so-nice looking agents takes them to where they are going to be staying. On the way there they take a break and the driver agent points Peter to a room where he meets an agent and she gives him the Spider Man stealth suit which she made.( if any of you who are reading this are Marvel freaks or Marvel beginners, to the Marvel beginners: if you know a Spider Man from a different multiverse called Spider Man Noir, this ISN'T him! This is the STEALTH SUIT Spider Man! And to the Marvel freaks: you should have already known that.) The agent tells Peter to put it on but when he is half way through, Brad comes in and sees him half naked and takes a picture. He says "I know you want to get MJ, but I can't let you. Sorry Peter, but I have to do this." And he runs out.
Back on the coach, Peter uses his E.D.I.T.H glasses (which Nick Fury gave him when they met in the hotel that was from Tony Stark) to see what Brad is doing and he sees that Brad is about to upload the photo of him on the internet and asks E.D.I.T.H to cancel it but ends up accidentally sending killer robots on Brad. Peter's panicking and as a distraction shouts "Hey look at the baby lamb lamb!" and they all go to the window to see. Then Peter jumps and webs the robot up so he can't use it's guns. When he comes back down his hair is very messed up and Ned's new girlfriend says "We know what you did Peter..." and Peter looks scared and confused and says "What did I do?" and then she suddenly said "We like your new hairstyle!" said Ned's girlfriend unexpectedly. I am going to stop here because I can see that most people who have seen this review in their heads are like "There is no way I'm reading this long thing!" But if you are still reading this, well done.
Right so it ends off with MJ finding out Peter is Spider Man and they find that Mysterio has been using holograms to make the Elementals and his powers and stuff but not before Peter gives him the E.D.I.T.H. glasses and he takes control of the robots which he uses to make more holograms. The final battle is in London where Peter gets his Peter-tingle back and kills Mysterio. In the first post credit scene it show Spider Man and MJ going on a date when suddenly a news report comes and it shows Mysterio making a last video and showing more holograms of Peter doing bad things when he suddenly reveals Spider Man's real name and the old J. Jonah Jameson from the first Spider Man movies comes and states that Spider Man is a villain and everything. And the second part shows that Nick Fury and Maria Hill where actually Talos and his wife from Captain Marvel and the real Nick Fury is in a spaceship with other skrulls in the middle of space. So that is the end and I hope you enjoyed my fun and TREMENDOUSLY LONG review (if you are still reading) of SPIDER-MAN:FAR FROM HOME!
