Iconic!!

This movie is a cartoon made in 2007 by Matt Groening and it took over 3 years to make, as they always tweaked it ever so slightly, making hundreds of copies over the years. I would highly recommend that you watch some normal episodes before watching this movie.

My favourite thing about the Simpsons is that they always have a side plot that leads into the main plot, and this movie is no exception. It starts with nutty Homer Simpson (voiced by Dan Castellaneta) adopting a Pig who he names Spider Pig. A bit later into the movie, Spider Pig’s silo of ‘waste’ is getting full, so Homer casually empties it into the Springfield lake, contaminating and polluting the water that Springfielders drink from and putting Springfield into quarantine. The people of Springfield are enraged at The Simpsons, forcing them to move to Alaska.

I personally think the best part of the movie is either the iconic ‘Spider pig’ song or how Matt Groening (The creator) and all the other writers chose Arnold Schwarzenegger to be the president of the USA. Personally, my favourite character is Maggie as she is just a baby, yet she is a criminal mastermind.

This movie has some of the best animation, even though it was made in 2007!!!

The Simpsons contributes to the comedy industry by turning an iconic TV series into a movie. No wonder why it has 31 series and is the longest running sitcom in history.

Finally, if you love good comedy, cartoons and toilet humour, then The Simpsons is the movie for you!
