The story revolves around the Graham family, when the grandmother of the family passes away her daughter and her grandchildren begin to discover more and more about the twisted ancestry of the family. I really enjoyed this film and how the director, Ari Aster uses the elements of horror. Aster creates a very interesting story which features an increasingly more disturbed set of characters. The intended audience for this film is people above the age of 15. This film features an eerie soundtrack composed by Colin Stetson which perfectly captures the mindsets of the characters. The film uses several scenes with low-key lighting and tracking shots to create the feeling of the family being haunted. The film also features some scenes that include horror in the dark or in the background of the shots, these shots are difficult for some viewers to see and this is becoming a major feature of Ari Aster's films as he uses this again in his newest film Midsommar (2019).
