An emotional tale of accepting choices and fixing mistakes

The story of Coco can seem a little misleading to begin with as the main character is Miguel and Coco doesn't seem to be an important character at all until the afterworld and afterlife begins to play a part. Miguel is a character that lots of kids can relate to as he wants to follow his dreams and isn't interested in boring ordinary work!

My favourite part of Coco is when the spirit animal saves Miguel and his family. I was shocked by the twist in the plot which reveals the true bad guy! I did't see it coming. As Coco deals with the afterlife it is a very emotional film too! My sister cried a lot when we watched it together!

I recommend Coco for whole family viewing.
