Awesome Anime!

The plot starts with Mei, Satsuki and their father on their moving day. They are moving to be closer to their Mum, who is sadly in hospital. The girls make a friend along the way nicknamed Nanny, who cares for Mei when her older sister Satsuki, is at school and her father at work. One day the adventurous duo come across a secret pathway leading to a safe haven for a magical creature named Totoro and his two little friends! The children soon become friends with the beast and learn many cool things from him. Plus they get help from some more interesting friends such as: the Catbus, Kanta and Nanny. This film also has a side plot where you follow the life of their mother and how she gets better.

I really did enjoy this film, as it has been on my "must see" film list forever.

My favourite character is most certainly Totoro, he looks kind, caring and also very cuddly, I would recommend this anime to anyone looking for a great mid-week film and a sneaky treat. I would only change two bits of the film, I believe the creators could of made the film a bit longer and made Totoro speak!
