Supa Modo is a movie about a girl called Jo who is ill is taken back to her village to live out the rest of her short life. Her only comfort during these dull times are her dreams of being a Superhero.
It is an extremely heart-warming movie to watch even though it has a sad ending, it is great to see how it ends as it shows how loving and supportive the village community.
I would recommend the movie to 7+ as it does have some themes that younger children may not understand what it happening throughout the movie.
Overall, the movie Supa Modo is a great movie as it covers the themes of grief and loss as well as dreams quite well. I enjoyed this movie as all the characters are likeable, especially when they try to help Jo live her dream.
