Bright coloured animation that made me smile!

I thoroughly enjoyed this film because the story was interesting, there was lots of action and the bright colours drew you in. It was about a young woman called Sophie and a man called Howl who became great friends. One night a horrible witch came to Sophie's hat shop and turned her into an old lady. Then Sophie went on a journey to try to remove the curse that had been placed on her. She discovered Howl's castle and from that point lots of strange but exciting things happened. My favourite character was the talking fire demon Calcipher because he was quite stubborn around everybody but he still loved them as much as they did them. This was the first Japanese film I have ever watched and I will definitely watch more in the future. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes animated films.
