Return to Oz

3 stars

01 Aug 2020

On Thursday 30th of July 2020 I watched my sixth film of the week that was made by Walt Disney the film is called Return to Oz. There is a model of the Emerald city castle with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and Tin Man you can see this model on the story book ride at Disneyland Paris this ride is called Storybook Land Canal Boat Ride which I have been on four times when I went to Disneyland Paris. The film is about young Dorothy who has trouble sleeping because she keeps remembering her time in the land of Oz but everyone keeps telling her that she did not go to the land of Oz in her house by a tornado it was just a nightmare where she bang her head and did not wake until two days but she believes that Oz is real and that the people she met are also real but her Aunt Em thinks that Dr. Worley will get Dorothy to sleep better if her nightmares of Oz are taken away but Dorothy, is saved from the psychiatric experiment by a mysterious girl and is somehow called back to Oz when a vain witch and the Nome King destroys everything that makes the magical land beautiful and she must save her friends as well and bring back Oz to life again does she do it on her own or does she have a lot of help from new friends and one old friend and will she save Oz in time or will the Nome king take over the land. Overall I give this film a 3 star rating because I preferred the 1939 film called the Wizard of oz but that is my own opinion.
