Visually brilliant 1971 Roald Dahl adaptation about a little boy who wins a tour of the maddest sweet factory in the world!

This movie based in a chocolate factory the owner Willy Wonka who makes chocolate bars decided to put 5 golden tickets in his chocolate bars for 5 children to find.

The first was found by Augustis gloop, he is a chubby boy whom eats lots of choclate, the second one was found by Veruca Salt a very spoilt girl, the third was found by Violet Beauregarde who usually eats lots of gum, Mike Teavee who loves watching tv and the fifth and final ticket was found by Charlie Bucket a poor boy who lives with his 2 sets of grandparents and his mother.

They take a journey through the factory seeing some wonderful and scary sights, along the way a few accidents occur to the characters witch are then saved by the oumpah-lumpas.

There is a few songs but they are aimed at the characters and are quite funny.

my favourite character is violet because i like chewing gum to., although i wouldn't chew the same piece for a year like she does.
