A brilliant Christmas sequel

5 stars

This film is the sequel to the film ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’, which was interpreted from a book. It showed the true story of James Bowen, who lived on the streets and busked in London with his guitar and his cat Bob. When the film ended his book had been published and he was no longer poor, so I was slightly unsure as to what would be put in the sequel.

In this film, James looks back on his last Christmas, when he was living in council housing. His only source of money was from busking, where he would play guitar and Bob would draw in people because of his cuteness. But not everyone wanted Bob to stay with James, and he had to deal with Animal Welfare, while struggling for money.

I found this film sad, but at the same time happy. I like how it showed James looking back and reflecting on his past, and how it showed him living. I would recommend this film to all people, as I thought it was brilliant and really shows real life circumstances.
