The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

4 stars

22 Dec 2020

Toady is the 22nd of December which means the twenty-second day of advent with only three days until Christmas. The film I have just watched was the second film to the series and that film was called The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers which is all about The surviving members of the Fellowship that have split into three groups. Frodo and Sam face many perils on their continuing quest to save Middle-earth by destroying the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom. Merry and Pippin escape from the Orcs and must convince the Ents to join the battle against evil and third group who is the Elf whose name is Legolas, the King whose name is Aragorn and the dwarf whose name is Gimli they must help a other king who also is the Lord of the Mark of Rohan whose name is Théoden they offer their help in a big battle against thousands of Orcs. My favorite character would be Gollum who is played by the same actor who was in the film Inkheart he played the character Capricorn and that actor's name is Andy Serkis. The reason why I chose Gollum as my Favorite character is because he kept on fighting with himself and he had different thoughts on what to do about getting back the ring from Frodo. But Frodo does not see what Gollum is up to but his best friend and partner whose name is Sam does see what mischief Gollum is planning which is making Frodo and Sam lose their friendship. This film has been given four stars which means I liked it because I felt that this one was made a lot more darker than the first movie so that is why it has got a four star review. My next film review will be tomorrow on the third film which is called The Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King and it is the last film of the series which means I would of now watched all six films. Thank you for reading my film review on The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
