Right up my ROBOTIC street!

5 stars

18 Mar 2021

This animated, futuristic, superhero, Disney movie made in 2014 is enjoyable for all ages. I know this because I watched it with my Dad and he loved as much as I did!

It is about a 14 year old boy called Hiro who is a tech genius that has his sight set on the college his brother goes to, but suddenly he loses his older brother and loses his way in life. Before he died his brother made a healthcare Robot called BAYMAX who becomes Hiro's friend rescuing him more than once. Then a typical fantasy action hero story unfolds with hints of comedy touching scenes science fiction, robotics and some amazing friends. There is also a moral to the story. The past does not have to hold you back. For me, I didn't know what it was about. I knew about the big white robot, I knew nothing about the superhero bit. I definitely didn't know about how adventurous it was and how exciting it was. If you like adventures, superheroes and robots this film is for you! My favourite character is definitely BAYMAX. He looks like a giant, soft, human-like awkward puffy white walking marshmallow. He is so lovable that as soon as you see him you want your own!

My favourite part is when Hiro makes these cool robotic suits for his friends to help stop the antagonist (bad guy).

This was an amazing, fun film and right up my street. Thanks for reading my review!
