Unfortunately I have never seen the original film, I am not a big fan of the animation movies, but well WOW. I thought this film was great. it tells the tale of a young lady, making her path in the world. Breaking silly traditions of marriage and what girls "should be". This girl, Mulan, makes her path and stands up for what she believes in. Even though she gets shunned she comes back fighting, stronger than ever, she inspires young girls and proves that females are just as strong as men. That we are not here to get shoved aside we can do anything they can do we might have to fight harder and be stronger but that just proves the point we set out to prove! I think Mulan proves all these points she is brave, loving, confident, she is a fighter. This film is different to other Disney films where there is a princess and the hero prince comes to save her. NO, this time round the hero is the girl and she saves everyone, all the men and she is an inspiration to females that we are strong, that is why I love this film.
