At first I thought this film was going to be really bad, oh how wrong I was.
This film is about a girl called Dorothy who lives on a farm in Kansas with her Aunt and Uncle. Until one day she gets swept away to the world of oz. To get home she has to go on a journey full of talking trees, tiny people, a wicked witch and fun friends to go to the Emerald City (Where there are more tiny people) to ask the wizard of Oz if he can help Dorothy get home. Over the course of her journey Dorothy meets a scarecrow , a tin man and a lion who all want something in life (being a trait or an organ.)
I like how the colour is used because it shows that from Dorothy's perspective Kansas is dull , grey and unexciting. Oz is the total opposite, full of bright colour and magic. Even though this film is 80 years old it still does not ruin the magic for me although there are some things I don't like, such as The Wicked Witches minions and the tiny people.
If this film was an Ice cream flavour it would be strawberry with sprinkles because it is super bright, super cheerful and all together sweet just like the wizard of Oz.
