This film is one of the most exquisite pieces of cinema i have ever seen. As a Scorsese fan i believe this to be his magnum opus, from the writing to the lighting to the cinematography, this film is exceptional. In terms of acting Dicaprio's performance is breathtaking, he plays Teddy with such poise and when he speaks i want to believe him. The plot is exciting and unique in the world of cinema, the whole concept is genius and it is perfectly executed. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen whilst watching this, it is a truly gripping film. 10/10, exquisite cinema.
