Running time: 101 minutes

Release date: June 22, 2005

Cinematography: Greg Gardiner

This modern comedy remake of The Love Bug is a weekend winner for families.

Set in America, Maggie (Lindsay Lohan) graduates from college and her Dad (Michael Keaton) buys her a car for her present, though her Dad (a racing champion) doesn't want her to get into racing, because he thinks it is too dangerous. After being rescued from the horrible junkyard, Herbie (the VW Beetle with a personality) is introduced to the world. This film differs from the original ' The Love Bug' with corny animation, better soundtrack and good quality production.

My highlight of the film was the plethora of car races.

It could be recommended to people between 3-50!

I would rate this film 4 out of 5, because of its comedy and racing scenes.

***There is never a dull moment with Herbie around.***
