Spectre was my first introduction to the James Bond franchise and I have to say that it was one of the best ways to be introduced to a franchise. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the action scenes. I had to study the opening scene for one of my classes and it was not the worst scene in the world. I liked seeing the mix of culture in the opening scenes combined with the action of what comes from a James Bond film. I liked seeing how Craig interacted with Bond as a character throughout that scene as well and the explosions and everything that came from it.
I also liked seeing the variety of big named actors in the film, and I liked seeing how they were placed into the scenes as well. I can’t exactly remember a lot about it because of the fact that Bond really isn’t my thing but I can remember a lot of fire, cars and action which is what a James Bond film should be about.
I wouldn’t really recommend this film to someone who doesn’t like a lot of action of was unfamiliar with Bond as a character because of how much context and backstory goes into Bond. If someone is unaware of who James Bond is or what to expect then I expect watching Spectre for the first time for someone who hadn’t known about it would be startling. For someone who is aware of James Bond, however, I definitely suggest watching Spectre. For the only Bond film I’ve seen, it was very good and it lived up to the standards of what a Bond film should have presented.
