I love this film. It's so funny and really good. I love Tracy, and how she doesn't let anyone get to her or put her down. She sees what she wants and goes for it, and pushes standards of what she is expected to be like because she is a bigger girl. I also love her big hair! The music is absolutely fantastic, and the costumes are beautiful. I love the look of clothes from the 60's, and they are done excellently in Hairspray. I really like John Travolta. He is really funny and entertaining too. It deals with the very important problem of racism, and it helps end it in some places. I definitely recommend the film, and I really enjoyed it :)

Outrageous yet genial comedy, about Tracy, a "pleasantly plump" teen who refuses to let the prejudices of others stand in the way of her fun.
