The darkest hour is a film directed by Joe Wright and written by Anthony McCartney the film is based on controversial prime minister at the time

A prime minister with controversial opinions was chosen to help save Britain from the war

The film was similar to The Imitation game in that they both are about a character that is not fighting in the war but is saving the country they both have similar endings Churchill becomes a very hated man and in the Imitation game Alan Turing becomes forgotten
